VHF
DSC Radio courses
We teach marine VHF radio short range certificate courses on a regular
basis throughout the year. Some course are run in the Milngavie
Community Education Centre, and others are run in sailing clubs and
anywhere else
people want them.
We now have a set of training radios that allow very
realistic training. Students can use these radios to talk to
each
other and practice using the DSC functions.

Fast
Rib charter
RIB Tramoyle can be chartered for almost any purpose. She is
based
in
both Ardrossan on the Firth of Clyde, and in Cushendall, Co. Antrim,
and is available from both. Tramoyle is fully licensed to carry up to 6
passengers and cruises at 25knts. Examples of charters might be a
sightseeing tour of the Firth of Clyde, transport to the Mull of
Kintyre, bird watching such as looking at the puffins on Rathlin Island
and
spectating at sailing events such as the Scottish Series. Tramoyle also
specialises in helping film crews, and a
number of programs filmed from Tramoyle have been on TV. For more

Powerboat
courses
We can also offer RYA powerboat courses in conjunction with Ardclinis
